One of the School of Babywearing trainee consultants is organising a backcarrying workshop in Derby.
Derby Sling Library and APUK Derby will organise a workshop for beginners who would like to learn back carrying and try several slings.

The workshop will cover:
– sling safety and brief introduction to babywearing in general
– different methods to get baby on your back in different carriers
– how to tie the back wrap cross carry – demonstration and learning
– brief introduction to other ties – demonstration
– how to use the mei tai and the buckles – demonstration and learning
– back carry in other carriers – brief introduction
– different methods to get baby safely off your back
– training materials and so much more!!!
You do not have to be experienced babywearer to attend the workshop.
Children are welcome as we have Story Time there too!! (Husbands can join
the reading-crafting as well)
